Britney Spears announces tour with Enrique Iglesias, he later bails
Britney sure knows how to keep her name in the news.
On the same day she released her seventh album, "Femme Fatale," she appeared on "Good Morning America" and announced a summer co-headlining tour with Enrique Iglesias.
"I'm going on tour with Enrique Iglesias in June," the pop star told Robin Roberts.
Britney was on "Good Morning America" promoting her new album. She performed several new songs, including "Till the World Ends" and "Hold It Against Me."
The show was pre-taped at San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
A few hours after Britney made the big announcement, Billboard reported that Enrique Iglesias bailed on the tour.
There has yet to be an official statement or explanation as to why Iglesias backed out. He is currently on tour in Europe.
The double-headliner tour was supposed to kick off June 17 in Sacramento, Calif., and end on Aug. 13 in Toronto.
The lineup, which was also posted on Britney's official website, is as follows:
