Bus Driver Arrested After Woman Dies in Streatham Crash
Woman in her 60s pronounced dead at scene following collision with bus in south-west London
A bus driver has been arrested after a woman who was struck by a vehicle in south-west London died.
Emergency services were called after the 60-year-old was hit by a bus in Streatham on 28 November.
Police confirmed the woman, who has not yet been name, died at the scene.
Scotland Yard have said the bus driver has now been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has since been bailed pending further enquires.
A spokesperson added: "Anyone who witnessed the collision at Ambleside Avenue at the junction with Mitcham Lane just before 6pm is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Catford on 020 8285 1574."
