Californian police respond to Starbucks goat named Millie
Police in Rohnert Park, California, took a surprising call on 10 April after a goat refused to leave a Starbucks coffee shop in a shopping mall. "Imagine our dispatcher's surprise when she received a couple of calls early this morning advising there was a goat roaming around Wolf Den Plaza" said the City of Rohnert Park Police & Fire.
Employees opening up the shop tried to give Millie a banana, but she was more interested in chewing a box. The goat was taken into custody by and transported to Rohnert Park Animal Shelter.
Luckily, the news got round to Millie's owner who eventually retrieved her. The goat had been living just around the corner from the mall. Rohnert police speculated that the goat "apparently needed a caffeine fix".
