In his latest selfie mishap, Prime Minister David Cameron has been compared to a "looming sea monster", after the picture of him posing with a group of young women emerged on Twitter.

Cameron posed for a snap with Megan McRobert, 18, from Oxford, and a group of her friends. But Twitter users were less than complimentary in their reactions.

"Cameron you look like a looming elderly sea monster" wrote @The_Biscuit.

"Worst thing in the history of things," commented @ArchedEyebrowBR.

In March, a picture posed of Cameron on the phone to president Barack Obama during the Ukraine crisis sparked a slew of parodies.
