Capricorn Commanders will take on Libra Legends in the second of the two matches scheduled in the Masters Champions League (MCL) at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on 5 February.

Overview

Libra Legends are the only side in the Masters Champions League who are without a win after three matches. In the last fixture against Sagittarius Strikers, they suffered a 63-run defeat as the Strikers posted a mammoth total of 227 runs for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs.

Poor bowling coupled by lack of consistency in the batting division was the primary reason for the Legends' loss. They will be hoping to seal their first win of the competition on Friday, when they face the Commanders.

With one win in the first three matches, Capricorn Commanders sit in fifth spot, level on points with fourth-placed Leo Lions. A victory over the Legends will move them higher up the table and improve their chances of qualifying for the knockout stages.
