Cara Delevingne Teams Up With Pharrell Williams for Debut Single
Cara Delevingne has enlisted the help of Pharrell Williams to make sure her highly anticipated musical debut is as epic as expected.
According to The Sun, the 22-year-old supermodel has reportedly collaborated with the Happy hitmaker on her first single, which they have been working on for the past eight months.
"They're going to release the song without warning, complete with video and global launch," a source said.
"They seem to have formed a great little writing collective and apparently it's a huge song."
It is not only a passion for music the pair has in common. Back in 2013 they posed together on the cover of Vogue magazine.
"I was so excited about working with him, he inspires me so much. I went on tour with Rihanna recently and Blurred Lines was blasted from the bus to get everyone singing, " Delevingne said at the time.
And Williams couldn't stop singing her praises at the 2014 Brit Awards in February.
"I think what people should probably focus in on, versus these specific projects, is on her, her spirit," he told Captital FM.
"And what she's up to next. Trust me. Because the films only get better, the parts only get bigger, the music only gets better, the modelling only gets better. But the spirit is becoming refined. She's becoming refined, so it's another chapter in her life."
Meanwhile, Delevingne has been busy with a few new projects, including creating a collection of handbags for Mulberry, filming her part in the upcoming fantasy film Pan and becoming the face of high street favourite Topshop.
Earlier this month she launched the Cara D For DKNY capsule collection, proving she is a force to be reckoned with.
