Manchester City needed penalties to beat Leicester City. Jamie Vardy hit the post and Riyad Mahrez's spot-kick was saved by Claudio Bravo as Pep Guardiola's side remained on course for a historic quadruple.
Chelsea are through after striking late to see off Bournemouth. Willian gave them an early lead but Dan Gosling's goal looked to be sending the game into extra time. But substitute Alvaro Morata tucked home the winner in stoppage time.
And there was late drama at Ashton Gate too. Joe Bryan smashed Bristol City ahead against Manchester United, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic's free-kick drew them level. Korey Smith tucked home in the third minute of added-on time to send the Robins soaring into the last four.
