Casey Anthony YouTube Clip Surfaces, Describes Life as ‘Surreal’
A YouTube video of woman believed to be Casey Anthony has emerged online in which she describes her life as "surreal" since being acquitted of killing her two-year-old daughter.
The shows a woman, who looks and sounds like Anthony but with short blonde hair and glasses, saying how she'll now be posting regular video updates on her life.
In the first of the videos posted, which was filmed in October, she does not mention the death of her daughter Caylee who was murdered last year, instead discussing how she now owns a computer and laptop and has recently adopted a dog.
The video was posted on a website called caseyanthonyisinnocent.com and has also appeared on at least two American morning shows, The Today Show and Good Morning America.
"It's just a little surreal how much things have changed since July, and how many things haven't changed," she says. "But the good thing is that things are starting to look up and things are starting to change in a good way. I just hope that things stay good and that they only get better."
Anthony, 25, was found not guilty of killing her daughter Caylee in July 2011 following a high-profile court case which lasted six weeks.
Anthony reported her daughter missing in July 15, 2008, claiming she had been kidnapped by a nanny in June. The remains of the two-year-old were found by a meter-reader Roy Kronk in December 2008, but a medical examination was not able to reveal how the girl died.
Anthony was found guilty of providing false information to a law enforcement officer, with the defence claiming that Anthony also lied about the nanny and that Caylee had actually died in the family swimming pool on June 16.
