Besiktas take on Arsenal in the first leg of the Champions League play-off at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium on Tuesday.
Where to Watch Live
Kick-off is set for 7.45pm BST on Tuesday. Live coverage is on ITV and ITV HD. Radio commentary of the game will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.
Overview
Besiktas come into this game on a high following their 5-2 aggregate victory over Feyenoord in the previous round. And former Chelsea striker Demba Ba, who joined the Turkish club this summer, is back in form after scoring a hat-trick in the second leg against the Eredivisie club.
Manager Slaven Bilic, will be wary of Arsenal's threat but will want to take an advantage when they travel to the Emirates for the second leg. The coach has made it clear that they are not here to make up numbers and are ready to take the fight to Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are playing a Turkish club for the second season in a row, as last season they faced Fenerbache in the same stage of the competition and came away with a win.
However, playing away in turkey is a daunting task for any team. The Gunners are coming on the back of a win in their opening Premier League fixture, but were not convincing in their performance at the weekend.
Moreover, Arsene Wenger is without his first choice centre-back pairing as the German players are yet to return to the first-team fold and to add to that, first choice-left back Kieran Gibbs has been ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring injury.
What Manager Say
Slaven Bilic (Besiktas): "We know what we're up against and we're ready to fight right until the end. It's a massive game not only for this generation for the history of Beşiktaş. Arsenal are one of the best teams in Europe, but we have a plan and we're going to make it happen."
Arsene Wenger (Arsenal): "Every challenge is different and beating a Turkish team away from home is very difficult but we want to perform at our best. Beşiktaş are on the back of a good result against Feyenoord. We're on our toes and want to produce a good result."
