Chelsea will take on Swansea City in a Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Club football returns after a two-week international break this weekend.

Where to Watch

Kick-off is set for 3pm BST. Radio commentary of the game will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live. Catch the highlights of the game on Match of the Day on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:50pm BST.

Overview

The top two teams in the Premier League will face each other and both the sides have won all three fixtures so far. Chelsea are on top with nine points and are level on points with Swansea, with goal difference separating the two clubs.

A victory for the Welsh club on Saturday will see them climb to the top spot, while a defeat will see the Blues further extend their lead at the top.

Chelsea come into this game after registering a 6-3 victory over Everton at Goodison Park in the previous fixture. The west London club were 2-0 up just three minutes into the game as Diego Costa and Branislav Ivanovic were on the score sheet. Costa added another goal to his name in the final minutes of the match.

Nemanja Matic and Ramires netted a goal each for Jose Mourinho's side. However, the downside of the result against Everton for the Portuguese tactician will be the three goals conceded against the Merseyside club.

Swansea, on the other hand, had a comfortable 3-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion in the last match played before the international break. With three wins in a row, Swans manager Gary Monk was awarded the Manager of the Month award, while Chelsea's Costa picked up the Player of the Month for August.

Swansea started the season on a brighter note with a 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford on the opening day of the season. A win at Stamford Bridge would see the Welsh club produce another upset in a short span of time.

What Managers Say

Jose Mourinho: "We had one week to work hard with the medical department and Costa has a chance to play tomorrow. We have a training session now to confirm his condition and make the final decision, but he was the only one who came back from the national team with a problem."

Gary Monk: "It's not a big deal for myself. I'm probably not the only one who Managers hasn't shaken hands with. I like to shake hands and finish well but I respect him highly, he's a top manager, a very respected person in football and in that bracket of the very elite."
