In the last fixture, they managed to seal a 3-1 victory over Sunderland as the Dutchman watched from the stands. He will be hoping to start his second spell at Stamford Bridge with a victory over the Hornets.

Watford come into this fixture after their 3-0 victory over Liverpool at home. It was an impressive display from Quique Sanchez Flores's side that saw them seal three points against the Merseyside club.

Flores will play against his former manager as he was the player when Hiddink was the manager at Valencia. He is aware of his playing style and management techniques and will be hoping he can utilize it against him when Watford face Chelsea .

What managers say

Guus Hiddink: "If you look back a bit to last season where there was this huge success in winning the title then of course you go into the next season and you have your targets, your aims and your aims are the same. Getting the championship again, even though in the Premier League that is not easy, that was the main target. The other targets of course are to go into the Champions League and the FA Cup."

Quique Sanchez Flores: "Is he one of the best managers I played for? Yes, of course, he's a very good manager. When he was coaching us we always achieved our objectives. At Valencia we were always in the top four. We played well. It was fun to go to training because always we were playing with the ball. Normally the teams of Hiddink play offensive, always, so it is difficult to stop it."
