Overview
Following the Super Kings' victory over Kings XI Punjab, MS Dhoni's side sealed the top spot as they lead the table with 18 points from 14 games. The Chennai based side will be hoping to make yet another final of the IPL with a win on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, a comfortable win for Mumbai Indians over Sunrisers Hyderabad on 17 May not only helped them seal a place in the top four, but also confirmed a second place finish. This has seen them take on Chennai Super Kings in the first qualifier.
Sunrisers were bowled out for 113 runs and in reply, Mumbai easily chased down the target and won by nine wickets with over six overs to spare. This helped Rohit Sharma's side oust Royal Challengers Bangalore from second place.
