Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has revealed on the Greg James' Radio 1 show that she would have kept her marriage to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini a secret for a lot longer, if news of their private wedding hadn't leaked.

The 'X Factor' judge also put on an impressive, upside-down twerking display for the show, reported MTV.

I would've kept it private and a secret, but unfortunately it was leaked," she told James.

"But I'm glad it's out there," she added coyly.

Fernandez-Versini managed to keep her marriage under wraps for seven days. On Monday 14 July, she posted a photo of her wedding and engagement rings on Instagram and said: "I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news."

"Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together," she said.

While news of Fernandez-Versini s marriage is now public, very little is known about the actual ceremony, which was attended by just four people.

Then there was the twerking display, which James did his best to copy. Let's just say he didn't quite manage it.

A video of Fernandez-Versini twerking was posted on Instagram.

The caption read: "The real behind-the-scenes of Crazy Stupid Love... @misscheryl was set the challenge to vertically twerk upside down girl done good!!!!"

It's been a busy week for Fernandez-Versini who launched her first fragrance just days after holding a second wedding party for the family and friends who missed out on the tiny Mustique ceremony.
