Cheryl's team are not giving anything away either as they shared a photo of the singer Twitter

Cheryl and boyfriend Liam Payne have not yet responded to reports that they are expecting a baby together. And while the former Girls Aloud singer's PR did tweet a new photo of the star, they weren't giving anything away either.

Wearing a loose fitting grey top , the 33-year-old was snapped as she posed for a selfie in a large auditorium, but the photo was cropped. Sharing the image on Twitter, the team at Supersonic PR wrote: "SNAPPED! @cherylofficial taking a selfie in between takes on set."

Earlier, Liam sparked a Twitter frenzy after changing his bio on the social media site to read 'the happiest man in the world', fueling speculation among fans that the couple are expecting their first child together.

The pair went public with their romance in January 2016, soon after Cheryl announced she was to separate from her husband of 15 months, Jean-Bernard Fernandez Versini.

While they initially faced a public backlash due to their age-gap romance, several months on and the unlikely celebrity couple are going strong.

The former One Direction star, who signed a solo deal with Capitol Records in the summer, is currently in LA where he is working on new tracks. And it was evident from his Instagram posts that he is pining for his girlfriend.

Sharing a shot of the pair wearing mud face masks he wrote: "I miss you!...The things you make me do ... home soon!" In a second close-up photo of himself the singer looked distinctly forlorn as he gazed into the camera.

Rumours first began to circulate about the couple after a source told Now magazine that, after finding love with the former X Factor auditionee, who she first met when he was 14, Cheryl has her heart set on becoming a mother.

"Cheryl's never been more determined to have a baby," the source said. "It's like it's the only thing in the world that matters to her. She's never been so focused on something. Cheryl has a stash of pregnancy and motherhood books she's always reading."

The former X Factor judge appeared healthy and glowing in a recent L'Oreal advert earlier this week, further adding to speculation that she might be pregnant.
