Chick-fil-A is adding new coffee options to its menu, entering the premium coffee market. The fast-food chain is known for its breakfast biscuits, but its coffee offerings have remained traditionally simple for years, serving standard hot coffee blends and plain iced options.

The chain is now testing premium coffee options designed to compete with established coffee retailers. Chick-fil-A has quietly launched new caffeine drinks in select stores, a move expected to significantly expand the chicken restaurant chain's beverage menu.

Chick-fil-A Launches Trial for New Coffee Drinks

The company is testing new flavours in select markets, suggesting it may be looking to expand its beverage offerings beyond its well-known food staples. According to Southern Living, Chick-fil-A began testing new coffee drinks earlier this month, rolling out the beverages in select Alabama markets, including Birmingham, Anniston, and Tuscaloosa.

The trial rollout introduced Mocha Cream Cold Brew, Caramel Cream Cold Brew, and Vanilla Iced Coffee at select locations in the test markets. The drinks are grouped into two categories: Iced Coffee, which now features two new flavours—caramel and mocha—alongside the chain's existing vanilla option, and Cream Cold Brew, a completely new offering.

Fresh Coffee Beverages On the Menu

The Cream Cold Brew blends cold-brewed coffee with a sweet cream base and is served over ice. According to the chain, it is made with a custom blend of brewed coffee and cream and can be ordered plain or flavoured with vanilla, caramel, or mocha, giving customers multiple customisation options.

Customers can purchase the new coffee drinks exclusively through the Chick-fil-A app, with participating locations offering pickup or delivery. While the beverages remain in the testing phase, purchases are eligible for loyalty points.

Return of Beloved Items for Valentine's Day

Aside from the ongoing coffee drink trial at some store outlets, Chick-fil-A also announced the return of fan-favourite treats for the upcoming Valentine's Day. The heart-shaped popular food trays are back for a limited time.

The favourite trays are set to return to Chick-fil-A's participating locations starting 26 January 2026 and will be available through mid-February or while supplies last. Customers can fill these special trays with any of their Chick-fil-A favourites, such as 30-pcs chicken nuggets, chocolate chunk cookies, Chocolate Fudge Brownie halves and Chick-n-Minis, as per PennLive.

Customers can design their own heart-shaped trays - choosing the items to make their Valentine's Day extra special. Unlike typical boxed meals, these festive trays are gift-ready and can feature the personal touch of the giver, making them perfect for sharing with loved ones — whether it's a partner, family, or friends, on Valentine's Day.

The heart-shaped trays are highly popular and can sell out quickly. To make sure you get one in time for Valentine's Day, it's best to order ahead. Availability may also vary by location, so early planning is recommended.

Finally, to avail these trays, customers can simply drop by any participating locations or place an order via the Chick-fil-A app. Fans can also head to the chain's catering website and have their trays delivered or scheduled for pickup for Valentine's Day celebration.
