Overview
Chile sealed a berth in the final of the Copa America on their home soil after a 2-1 victory over Peru in the first semi-final. It was Napoli forward Eduardo Vargas's brace sandwiched between Gary Medel's own goal that helped Jorge Sampaoli make it to the final two of the tournament.
On the other hand, Argentina sealed a thumping 6-1 victory over Paraguay to make it to the final. Two goals from Angel Di Maria, followed by a goal each from Marcos Rojo, Javier Pastore, Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain made sure they made it to the final.
Chile lead the scoring charts in the tournament with 13 goals, while their weekend opponent are short of three goals. Meanwhile, Argentina have conceded three goals so far in the tournament and all of them have come against Paraguay. Both teams have managed three clean sheets and have a balanced side.
Lionel Messi, Di Maria and Aguero will be the key players for Argentina to lead their attack. For Chile, it will be Vargas, who is the tournament top scorer with five goals along with Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal who will be vital in their attacking front.
