Clacton murder: Police launch manhunt after the discovery of a woman's corpse
Police have launched a manhunt after discovering the body of a woman in a house in Essex. The woman, believed to be in her late 50s, was found at a property on Old Road, Clacton-on-Sea after 10.50am GMT on 18 December.
Essex Police said they went to the house after concerns were raised over the welfare of a resident. Police are now trying to locate 25-year-old Scott Hilling in connection with a murder investigation. Releasing an image of the suspect, they appealed to the public on social media for any information relating to his whereabouts and advised members of the public not to approach him.
A spokesman for Essex Police told Sky News: "A post-mortem to establish the cause of death has not yet taken place but police believe she was killed. A forensic examination of the scene is currently under way. Other officers are also carrying out house-to-house inquiries and requesting CCTV footage from any nearby commercial and residential properties."

Hilling is described as 5ft 6in tall. He has the word "Hillen" tattooed on his neck and a cross tattooed on his hand.
