Avon and Somerset Police are tracing hundreds of thousands of fizzy drinks, including Coca Cola Getty

Robbers are on the run with a £250,000 haul of Coca-Cola and other soft drinks stolen from Bristol on 27 February. Avon and Somerset police have launched a public appeal to help find hundreds of thousands of fizzy drinks after a lorry was stolen and then plundered of the beverages.

The police issued the following statement:

"A large dark blue articulated lorry with a "PROMPT" logo on the back of the vehicle was stolen from Prompt Transport on Southway Drive at around 11:45pm. The registration of the vehicle is WX14 TLJ and it was filled with cans of Coca Cola and other soft drinks.

"The vehicle has since been found but we are looking to trace its contents and its movements while it was stolen. We would like anyone who has any information about the incident to contact us.
