Controversial US pastor says world can be 'Aids free by Christmas' if all gay people can be executed
An Arizona Christian pastor claims the world can finally be "Aids free by Christmas" if all the gay people can be executed.
Speaking at a sermon titled, 'Aids: The Judgement of God', at the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona, according to The Independent pastor Steven Anderson said: "Anybody who's a homo or bi - it's all the same category - sodomite is what the Bible would call them."
According to Anderson, the world has been "brainwashed" about homogeneity as the Bible allows the genocide of LGBT people, which he proclaims is the "cure" for Aids.
"We can have an Aids free world by Christmas. Okay, it wouldn't be totally Aids free, but we'd be like 90-some per cent Aids free by Christmas if we follow this," said Anderson.
As the audience laughs, Anderson continues and refers the audience to Leviticus 20:13 saying: "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, even both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.
"And that, my friend, is the cure for Aids. It was right there in the Bible all along - and they're out spending billions of dollars in research and testing. It's curable - right there. Because if you executed the homos like God recommends, you wouldn't have all this AIDS running rampant."
Anderson even alleges that all gay people are paedophiles and pose a risk to children.
Condemnation of gay people, according to Anderson, is also a way of practicing the Christian faith.
In 2009, Anderson allegedly prayed to God for the US President Barack Obama to die and go to hell, reported The Independent.
Anderson has also attacked women on birth control pills calling them green-blooded "whores".
