Coronation Street and Emmerdale actor Trevor Smith missing as police hunt for star
Police are searching for Coronation Street and Emmerdale actor Trevor Smith who went missing from his home in Derbyshire.
Smith, 42, also known as Trevor Hancock, was reported missing on 5 January at 9.49pm where he was last seen at his home in Bowling Green Lane in Wirksworth, Derbyshire.
He has been a professional actor since 1991 and has appeared in TV soaps Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks, and in ITV's The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes.
In 1999, he featured in Coronation Street playing Kevin Dolan - a valuer from estate agents Adam Wade & Co, who were selling The Kabin shop.
He is described as white, with short, dark hair and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing blue jogging bottoms, a black padded jacket with green parka coat over the top, and a maroon and grey wool hat. He had plaster casts on both wrists.
Police are appealing to Smith or anyone who has seen him to contact Buxton Police Station on 101.
