Counting On star Jinger Duggar is 'excited' about marrying Jeremy Vuolo and wants to start a family
The fourth Duggar daughter speaks about her imminent engagement to Vuolo.
TLC's Counting On season 2 will now focus on the fourth Duggar daughter as she gets ready for her engagement with former footballer Jeremy Vuolo. In a recent interview, 22-year-old Jinger opened up about finding the man of her dreams, her wedding to follow and about starting a family.
"Well, I love kids. I'm excited for the future, when Jeremy and I are married, to start a family," Jim Bob and Michelle's sixth child told Us Weekly.
Speaking about finding her "best friend for a lifetime" – who she met in May 2016 – through Jessa and Ben Seewald, the former 19 Kids And Counting star said that Vuolo is "an answer to my prayers".
"I asked God for this in a future spouse, and He has done far above anything I could have ever imagined or dreamed in bringing Jeremy into my life," she said.
A month after announcing their courtship on Counting On, Vuolo, who works as a pastor, proposed to Jinger in New York. The couple from the evangelical Christian family, are currently busy planning their wedding, the date of which is yet to be announced.
However, unlike her sisters' lavish weddings, the duo plan to host a private ceremony for close family and friends. "We're trying to keep it intimate, between family and friends. We want to be very intentional with who we invite," Vuolo told the website.
Elaborating about having children, Jinger said: "We haven't talked about size, but I know we both love children. They're a joy. We'll have to see what the Lord provides."
Counting On season 2 will premiere on 23 August on TLC at 8pm EDT.
