Criminal Minds season 10 episode 13 synopsis: Rossi and Gideon's past revisited to track down a killer on the loose

Criminal Minds season 10 episode 13 will give fans another chance to see their favourite character Gideon again.

Ben Savage, famous for his role in the TV series Girl Meets World and Boy Meets World, will play the young Gideon in the super hit police-procedural drama by CBS.

The official synopsis of episode 13 titled Nelson's Sparrow reads: (via CarterMatt)

"The BAU will revisit its origins when they look at one of Rossi and Gideon's old cases to track a killer that got away. Series star Kirsten Vangsness co-wrote the episode with Erica Messer, one of the series' executive producers. Ben Savage ("Girl Meets World," "Boy Meets World") guest stars as young Gideon, and Arye Gross ("Castle," "Ellen") guest stars as Donnie Mallick."

In the previous episode Anonymous, the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) gets a call to solve the case of a serial killer who telephones the local authorities before taking down his victims.

During investigations, the unit discover that the killer was trying to find an organ donor in each of his victims for his drug-addict daughter. However, he kills himself as he realises that he is the only donor who can save his daughter's life.

In the upcoming episode, BAU will go back to its origins and re-examine old cases of Rossi and Gideon in order to nab a killer who is on the loose.

Criminal Minds episode 13 Nelson's Sparrow will air on Wednesday, 28 January on CBS.
