Crystal Palace vs Manchester United, Premier League 2015-16: Where to watch, preview, betting odds and possible XI
Manchester United will take on Crystal Palace in the weekend Premier League clash at Selhurst Park on 31 October.
Where to watch
Kick-off is at 3pm GMT. Radio commentary of the game will be available on BBC Radio. Catch the highlights of the game on Match Of The Day on BBC1 and BBC1 HD at 10.25pm GMT.
Overview
Palace come into this fixture after a disappointing 5-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City at the Etihad in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup. That saw the Eagles being eliminated from the competition and also marked their third straight defeat in all competitions.
The hosts will be hoping to avoid another defeat when they face United. Manager Alan Pardew has seen his side conceded nine goals in three matches and he will be looking to tighten his side's defence when they host Red Devils on 31 October.
Meanwhile, United enter this fixture after being eliminated from the Capital One Cup by Middlesbrough on penalties following a goalless draw after normal and extra time. Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick were among those from Louis van Gaal's side to see their penalty efforts fail to hit the back of the net. Prior to that fixture, United have settled for two draws, against Manchester City and CSKA Moscow.
What the managers say
Alan Pardew: "They're good games for us. Man City and Man United. We look forward to those and hopefully [we can] get ourselves a win."
Louis van Gaal: "I have said that once or twice, but the media that are writing. When you come to the match and see how we have played, you see how Boro played, also in a fantastic way. It is of course not so nice for us, but I think that the fans have enjoyed it."
