David Arquette to Marry Christina McLarty

Just days after his ex-wife Courteney Cox announced her engagement to Johnny McDaid, David Arquette has confirmed that he is also set to walk down the aisle for the second time.

The actor is engaged to his girlfriend and the mother of his second child Christina McLarty.

According to People magazine, Arquette popped the question at Mastro's Ocean Club in Malibu.

"He wanted his family to be with him when he did it," the source says, adding that "they are going to vacation in Aspen to celebrate."

Arquette and McLarty,33, who started dating in 2011, welcomed their son Charlie West in May.

Before the birth, the 42-year-old star revealed that he was looking forward to expanding his family.

"I've done it once so there's not that fear that a first-time parent has because you just don't know what to expect," Arquette said. "You have to have a lot of faith that you will be able to keep them safe and not mess them up too much."

Arquette was married to Cox for 11 years before the couple split in 2010. They have a 10-year-old daughter named Coco together.
