Britain's Favourite Nude Male Celebrity: David Beckham Beats Robert Pattinson to the Top Spot

Soccer superstar David Beckham has topped in a poll to find Britain's favourite nude male celebrity.

The father-of-four secured the top spot after he was seen in a series of semi-naked Armani and H&M advertising campaigns.

Twilight heart-throb Robert Pattinson secured second place for racy scenes in his movie Cosmopolis, which is based on a Don DeLillo novel where he plays the role of Eric Packer, a billionaire from Manhattan. The film revolves around a 28-year-old, who loses control over the world around him, as he moves around the city in his chauffeur-driven limousine.

Surprisingly, television host Piers Morgan won the third spot for his semi-naked advertising campaign for Burger King in 2009.

Meanwhile, Michael Fassbender, who bared all as a sex addict in his film Shame came in fourth while Olympic diver Tom Daley made it to fifth place.

"We agree that Beckham is a huge front runner in the striptease department," Mickey Elimelech, head of 888.com's Wink Bingo which conducted the poll said, "But we must admit that Piers Morgan was a surprise."
