David Beckham's youngest son Cruz punches his dad in the head as they practice boxing
Dad-of-four enjoyed some bonding time with cheeky 12-year-old sparring in the ring.
Forget Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko as it was David Beckham vs Cruz Beckham in the boxing ring as the father and son went head-to-head to practice their skills.
The cheeky 12-year-old even managed to land a punch on his retired footballer dad's head.
Uploading a video to Instagram which captured the moment between him and his youngest son, dad-of-four David, 41, wrote alongside it: "Early morning box with the little man… Caught me with a right jab… Fun times."
Both look in good form as they circle each other at the beginning of the online clip with David opting for red boxing gloves while Cruz wears black ones.
They then throw a couple of soft punches at one another smiling and clearly having fun throughout.
There was no sign of David's other children Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14 and five-year-old Harper, who he shares with Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer wife Victoria, 42.
It's not the first time that David – who celebrates his 42nd birthday on May 2 – has expressed his love for boxing online. The beloved sporting hero previously shared a brooding picture of himself pummelling a punching bag at a boxing studio. He has also encouraged Brooklyn to take up the sport as well.
Additionally, the former Manchester United footballer has been photographed attending a number of fights over the years including Manny Pacquiao's victory over Brandon Rios in 2013 and Ricky Hatton's defeat by Floyd Mayweather in 2007.
His sparring with Cruz comes after pictures emerged of David on the set of Warner Bros. new film King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword.
He can be seen in one sporting armour as he plays knight Trigger in the Guy Ritchie directed flick.
Sharing the picture himself, David told his 36.1 million followers: "On set for the @kingarthurmovie #KingArthur."
King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword is due for release in the UK on May 19.
