David and Victoria Beckham share adorable throwback photos on Instagram celebrating 17 years of togetherness

Victoria Beckham was treated to an adorable throwback photograph from her marriage by husband David Beckham on 4 July. While most people were celebrating US Independence Day on Monday, the British couple had another reason to celebrate. David and Victoria, who have been married since 1999, were celebrating their 17th anniversary.

To mark the special date, the soccer star shared a memorable picture from their wedding on his Instagram account. "Wow 17 years ago to this day this happened... I was lucky to meet someone who has the same drive and wanted the same things in life," David captioned his image.

He further went on to gush about his family and express his love for his wife of 17 years adding, "We have created 4 beautiful children and I couldn't wish for a more loving and caring mummy for them... Happy anniversary, I love you."

The 41-year-old football player and his fashion designer wife had tied the knot at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland after dating for close to two years. In the throwback picture, the young couple makes for an endearing pair. While David flaunts a dapper look in his ivory suit and side brushed hair, the former Spice Girl complements her husband with a gorgeous strapless gown in a matching hue and a tiara.

Victoria too reciprocated the love and posted another image of their wedding, where she is seen embracing her husband. "I feel so loved and truly blessed," she wrote on Instagram adding, "My best friend, my love. The kindest man who inspires me every day. Happy Anniversary to the best husband and daddy in the world!! EVER!"

The happy couple have four children – 17-year-old Brooklyn, 13-year-old Romeo, 11-year-old Cruz, and 4-year-old daughter Harper.
