Davina McCall Mourns Half-Sister Caroline Baday's Death by Cancer
Davina McCall is mourning the death of her half-sister, Caroline Baday.
The 44-year-old Million Pound Drop host told fans of her grief after Caroline Baday lost her battle with cancer.
McCall wrote on Twitter: "My beautiful brave sister Caroline (@madfroggy) lost her fight against cancer today.
"My heart hurts so much. Thank you for your kind messages... Xx."
She shared a photo of a smiling Baday in her hospital gown with the words: "My amazing sister..."
The devastated mum-of-three was very close to her sister, who was her mother's daughter from her first marriage.
In the months leading up to her death, Baday, 50, moved in with the former Big Brother presenter and her family.
McCall, who revealed that Baday was sick in June, had kept a bedside vigil as her sister's condition deteriorated.
She tweeted recently: "Sorry, I have sort of disappeared. On family hols, sister still poorly so no tweeting but checking in every now and then.Thank u for asking x."
Fans and celebrities alike have flocked online to share their messages of condolence and support.
Myleene Klass wrote: "I'm so sorry for your loss. The love sisters have is so special. X."
A fan said: "So sad for you Davina. Thinking of you and all your family."
