Real Madrid will look to bounce back from their El Clasico defeat when they travel to the Riazor to take on Deportivo La Coruna on 26 April (Wednesday).

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 8.30pm BST. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 3 HD.

Overview

Willian Jose scored the only goal of the game as Deportivo La Coruna slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Real Sociedad on 23 April. The Galician outfit have lost their last seven games against Real Madrid.

Carles Gil, Alejandro Arribas and Guilherme all return from suspension for the hosts, but Pedro Mosquera is sidelined with a thigh problem.

Real Madrid's 12-game unbeaten run in all competitions came to an end as they fell to a 3-2 defeat against Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu on 23 April. The capital club are level on points with La Liga leaders Barcelona but are behind their arch-rivals due to an inferior head-to-head record.

Centre-back Raphael Varane is available after recovering from a hamstring injury, but Pepe (ribs) and Gareth Bale (calf) are both sidelined.

What managers say

Pepe Mel: "We are ready to win and are only thinking about the three points. We'll give something extra and I'm sure we'll see another Depor. The good thing about playing against the great teams is that every player reacts. I know Real Madrid will need the three points and will come to win." [via Marca]

Zinedine Zidane: "It would have been better not to have lost [El Clasico], but in the end they were three points. Now they are only saying that Barcelona will win the league and Real Madrid are not worth anything. I know and so do you that this is not true, but we can't prevent people from talking. I tell my players that we don't have to change anything in what we are doing. We must continue working hard and moving forward." [via ESPN]
