After suffering their first defeat of the season at the hands of Newcastle United, Chelsea bounced back with two wins against Sporting in the Champions League and Hull City in the Premier League.

In the previous round, the Blues registered a 1-2 victory over Shrewsbury Town to make it to the last eight of the Capital One Cup. It was Jermaine Grandison's second half own goal that helped the Premier League outfit seal a crucial win.

What Managers Say

Steve McClaren: "We have to coach our defenders better. Tell them: 'Stay on your feet and don't dive in.' Once a player's in that penalty area – it's what we call the red zone. It's danger. Don't give the opponent the opportunity to fall over or catch your foot, to put yourself in that situation where it's a desperate challenge."

Jose Mourinho: "I will pick the best possible team. We have no reason to rest people, everybody goes. The only one that is not going is Cahill but that is only because he played against Sporting Lisbon last week. So I will play Kurt Zouma.
