Devious Maids season 4 premiere online: Susan Lucci had 'butterflies' before filming nude scenes

Devious Maids season 4 will premiere on Lifetime this Monday (6 June) at 9pm EDT. The American comedy-drama will reveal the outcome of the season 3 finale cliffhanger and fans will learn whether Adrian survived the deadly inferno or not.

The synopsis released by the network, however, hints at a depressing future for Evelyn Powell's husband, as it hints at a "big life change" for her. But it appears she will find a great support system in Marisol Suarez.

Like every season of the Lifetime hit drama, season 4 will also feature plenty of intimate scenes, including few by 69-year-old Susan Lucci, who plays Genevieve Delatour. The veteran actress has admitted that filming nude scenes made her nervous.

"It's always just a lot of butterflies and preparation. You hope you did everything you're supposed to do — lots of extra Pilates and not eating lunch. You know, all of that stuff," she told Entertainment Tonight.

In one clip of the trailer, a naked Genevieve is seen relaxing on a couch flaunting a devilish smile with a flower vase placed strategically. In the season 3 finale, super-rich Genevieve and a heavily pregnant Zoila dealt with a difficult situation as the latter's water broke in the lift and later Lucci's character was asked to choose between her loyal maid and the unborn baby.

While Zoila's fate is still unknown, the official description suggests that Genevieve is missing her loyal maid and is adjusting with Rosie as her new domestic help.
