Brad Pitt's dramatic weight-loss after his recent appearance at The Lost City of Z premiere has fuelled rumours that the actor has not been keeping well. While sources claimed that the actor's gaunt shape has nothing to do with stress or his ongoing divorce, a new report escalated issues and added that Pitt's mother was also worried for him.

Not only is Pitt's mother Jane concerned about her son's transformed physique, as per Radar Online, but she may have apparently reached out to his ex Jennifer Aniston to "help him get back on his feet".

"She would love them to get back together—she loves Jen like a daughter and always will," a source told the website. But as it turns out, the report about Jane's desperate call to Aniston was merely concocted.

According to Gossip Cop, representatives of the Friends actress flat-out denied the call claiming that such a thing "never happened".

And it does not end with Aniston's spokesperson, as the news debunking website assured that none of the sources close to the two actors could confirm the claims made by Radar Online.

The original report claimed that the 48-year-old Hollywood actress, who is married to filmmaker Justin Theroux, received a worried phone call from Pitt's mother regarding his health and added that the Oscar-winner's divorce has been taking a toll on his appearance.

"Jane's devastated at the state her son's in, he is just not doing well right now, and she's begged Jen to please take him under her wing and help him get back on his feet," an unverified insider told the website adding, "Despite the terrible way Brad treated her, Jane and Jen have never lost contact."

The report also claimed that Aniston has been "in touch" with the 53-year-old actor.

"While she'll never go back to him, there's definitely been a lift on the no-contact rule from her inner circle," the source said.

Pitt and Aniston were married from 2000-05, following which the actor moved got into a relationship with Angelina Jolie.
