Did Drake confirm Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill engagement at Coachella music festival?

Drake has fuelled rumours that his fellow Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj is engaged to her boyfriend Meek Mill after "congratulating" the couple at Coachella 2015.

Minaj, 32, joined the Canadian rapper on stage at the Californian music festival for a performance of their song, Truffle Butter. Following their duet, Drake gushed over the Pinkprint rapper telling the audience: "[This is] the love of my life. I love this girl right here, we family forever... Congratulations and all that, I just want to give you a hug."

Although it is not known what the 28-year-old was congratulating Minaj on, many believe he was referring to speculation that the Super Bass rapper is engaged to hip-hop star Meek Mill.

However, fans may be confused as Minaj's mother Carol Maraj reportedly denied her famous daughter is set to walk down the aisle with Meek, who is signed to Rick Ross's record label Maybach Music Group.

Maraj told celebrity website Bossip.com: "I talk to my daughter everyday, and she said she was not engaged."

The engagement rumours began circulating after Minaj shared a photo of herself with her rapper boyfriend on Instagram with the caption: "I wish every night could feel like last night" and a second that read "Miami Nights".

Another photo soon followed, showing her left hand wearing a large heart-shaped ring on her finger with a caption of ring emojis, which many believed was her engagement announcement.

Minaj and Meek, 27, have been dating for around three months after going public in February. The Starships rapper had broken up with music producer Safaree Samuels just a couple of months before after more than 10 years together.
