Did Mariah Carey's parenting style cause her split from James Packer? Find out the truth here
Earlier a report had claimed that Packer broke-up with Carey over her 'extravagant spending'.
As Mariah Carey and James Packer's high-profile split unfolds, a new report has surfaced claiming that the couple "clashed" over the singer's parenting style. While the magazine article makes tall claims related to Carey's "bratty" children and the consequences of her parenting on her relationship with the billionaire businessman, sources close to Packer have rubbished the news.
"The claims are absolutely untrue and ridiculous," a spokesperson for Packer was quoted as saying by Daily Mail. The clarifications from the Casino mogul's side came after fresh allegations that suggested that Packer couldn't handle Carey's kids.
According to the original report by Woman's Day (cited by Daily Mail), Packer and Carey allegedly "clashed over how she raised her twins".
Not only this, the report further added, "He [James] just couldn't handle her kids - they were pretty bratty compared to his three [Emmanuelle, 4, Jackson, 6 and Indigo, 8] with Erica, who's a fantastic mum."
However, this is not the first time that the magazine has shared such gossips about the 46-year-old songstress. Previously a Woman's Day report claimed that the Australian tycoon broke-up with the mother-of-two following her "extravagant spending" and also put her long-time friend and manager Stella Bulochnikov in the middle of the split.
Even Carey didn't let the incident pass, as she later fired back with an Instagram post shutting all rumours about her much-publicised split. "#realfriends who don't read Woman's Day #wedontknowyou. We love you #Australianlambs," she shared along with a photo of her and Bulochnikov.
Meanwhile, another report by TMZ revealed a set of strict pointers from an alleged draft of Carey and Packer's unsigned prenup documents. One of the pointers stated that "James will pay Mariah, and Mariah shall accept, $6 million dollars per year for each full year of marriage, up to a maximum of $30 million," if they split.
Although gossip reports have comes up with several speculations over the past few days, the only official statement released by Carey's team claimed that the couple had a blowout in Greece and "they're not sure if they will stay together."
