Directors share first look at Avengers Infinity Wars featuring Josh Brolin as Thanos
Avengers Infinity War is set to release in May 2018.
After dealing with Captain America vs Iron Man in Civil War, Russo brothers – Anthony and Joseph – are preparing for their upcoming Marvel movie, Avengers Infinity Wars. Although the production on Avengers 3 will not officially begin until November, the directors took to social media to share a "rehearsal" image.
The directors posted a set photo on their official Facebook page which features rehearsal time with Josh Brolin's Thanos. In the image, the Russo brothers are shooting a scene with Brolin, who is wearing a purple motion capture suit to bring in the digitally-created villain to life.
Avengers 3 will feature as many as 67 characters and Joseph admitted that they are looking to "break ground on Avengers: Infinity War". Previously, Brolin spoke to Digital Spy about the script of Infinity Wars and teased an "amazing story". He said, "I literally can't say one word about it, but it's an incredible story. There's no script yet. But I do know the story inside and out and it's an amazing story."
The Thanos actor then went on to reveal that he was blown away by the Avengers 3 plot. He explained, "I sat at a table and listened to the story and was completely and utterly blown away. I was told it by all the people involved. It was a large table, I'll put it that way!"
While there is a lot of time for the big Thanos vs Avengers battle to hit screens. Superhero fans will have a treat as Avengers: Infinity War will arrive on 4 May 2018, then there is Doctor Strange which will release on 4 November 2016; Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 on 5 May 2017; Spider-Man: Homecoming on 7 July 2017; Thor: Ragnarok on 3 November 2017 and Black Panther on 16 February 2018.
