DJ Khaled leaves internet speechless after graphically Snapchatting his son's birth

DJ Khaled has shared the birth of his baby with fiancée Nicole Tuck in a typically unconventional manner – choosing to Snapchat his wife's labour every graphic step of the way.

The extravagant music producer and social media personality, known for his love of app and catchphrases such as "you smart," "you loyal" and "another one", witnessed his wife giving birth to their baby in the early hours of Sunday morning.

But while most expectant husbands would be focused on providing words of loving comfort and support, Khaled, 40, chose to post a series clips on Snapchat, as well as some Instagram pictures for good measure – including a staged shot of him looking to the skies as his wife struggled beside him.

One particularly graphic post featured Tuck pushing through the birth.

Fans were left shocked at the updates, soundtracked by everything from prayers in the Quran to Khaled's summer hit I Got The Keys.

Mirror Online claim the star did in fact forewarn of his plans, telling US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel back in June that he really wanted to Snapchat his son's "whole birth".

When asked what his long-time partner would think during one of the most intensely personal and painful experiences of her life, he said: "The key is that I'm the king and every queen should support the king.

"I'm going to talk to the doctor and if the doctor says everything is gonna run smooth, meaning that we wanna make sure that the queen is right and my son is right.

"If it's running smooth where I can just do my thing, I'mma Snapchat the whole thing."

This is not the first time Khaled has dumbfounded viewers on Snapchat. Last year he documented his day out on a jet ski, only to get lost at sea and spend the time delivering profound catchphrases and life advice.
