Doctor Strange: Leaked on-set footage shows Benedict Cumberbatch in action as the Marvel hero
Here's a little something for Benedict Cumberbatch fans eagerly awaiting to see the actor as Doctor Strange in Marvel's upcoming superhero flick — latest images and videos featuring the actor all suited up and in action on the sets.
Cumberbatch was spotted in the Doctor Strange "red and dark blue" costume while filming in London. Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo was also present in his brown robe.
The leaked scene shows Cumberbatch and Ejiofor in characters rushing to aide Benedict Wong (as Wong) who was lying on the pavement. Cumberbatch has noticeable wounds on his head from the on-going battle, reports Movie News Guide. You can click here to watch the leaked on-set video.
The film is being shot in London and with a largely British cast of actors. However, it is understood that the majority of the action will take place in New York City.
Meanwhile, in an earlier interview, the Sherlock star told Entertainment Weekly: "There's all sorts of craziness [in Doctor Strange]. Falling, flying, jumping, fighting, punching, getting punched. It's really rough and tumble. There's going to be crazy s**t going on."
Doctor Strange is slated to release on 4 November 2016. While the studio has not given any official indication regarding the film's first teaser-trailer release date, there's a strong chance that the first full-fledged theatrical trailer of the film will release ahead of Captain America: Civil War, which opens on 6 May 2016.
