17 injured in shooting at Arkansas nightclub
Many were injured as people were trampled while fleeing the club.
Multiple people have been shot at a night club in Little Rock, Arkansas, on 1 July. The incident is reported to have taken place in the early hours of Saturday morning at the Power Ultra Lounge.
Police have said that there are 17 victims, who include those shot as well as people trampled as patrons fled the club.
Police have not released any suspect information, but do not believe this was an active shooter or terror related incident.
One person was initially in a critical condition but this was downgraded to stable.
Police also later confirmed that all 17 people who were injured were alive.
According to Katv, police say it appears to have been a dispute at a concert.
Little Rock Chief of Police Kenton Buckner told NBC news that "other club-goers were trampled on as they tried to exit the venue while a couple were injured after they jumped out of a window of the multi-story building."
It was reported that a lot of young people were in the club at the time of the, the youngest person injured was aged 16.
