Days of continuous rain have led to landslides and severe flooding in the southern Philippines. On the island of Mindanao, at least 40 people have been killed by the extreme weather conditions brought by Tropical Depression Agaton. Thousands of families have been evacuated from their homes, and major roads have been blocked or washed away by landslides.
