E3: Dishonored 2 announced with trailer at Bethesda press conference
Arkane Studios announced Dishonored 2 at Bethesda's E3 press conference with stylish trailer revealing a new protagonist to play as - a grown up version of Emily Kaldwin from the original game released in 2012.
Players will be able to choose whether to play as her or the original game's protagonist Corvo Attano. Each will have different abilities suited to particular tasks within the game. You can watch the announcement trailer below.
More information was promised at a later date for the game set to be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC with no release date given at the press conference. A remake of the original game for Xbox One and PS4 was also announced. Dishonored: Definitive Edition will be released at the tail-end of 2015.
In 2012 that original game was highly praised for its style, beautiful world and innovative gameplay that blended action and stealth, giving players the option of completing the game without killing a single person if they so wish.
That same philosophy will be at the core of the sequel.
