Ed Sheeran car crash: Singer denies Top Gear fender bender

Ed Sheeran has dismissed reports he was involved in a car crash while filming a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of BBC motoring show, Top Gear.
The 23-year-old singer, who does not have a driving licence, joined Jeremy Clarkson and Co this week to take part in a track race as part of the series' Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment.
Multiple news outlets had reported that the flame-haired star was involved in a frightening fender bender during the adrenalin-pumping shoot.
The Think out Loud hit maker has since taken to social media to set the record straight, reassuring fans that all is well.
And I didn't crash on top gear, I went off road. Was my first time driving ever. Tune in Sunday to see what actually happened

In October Sheeran admitted that fear had prevented him from learning to drive.
"I still can't drive. But if I did, I'd like a Mini. It's kind of understated," he told the Daily Mail. "Sports cars scare the s*** out of me because they go so fast."
Before jumping behind the wheel for Top Gear, Sheeran reached out to fans for some cyber support.
I'm driving for the first time ever today, on a race track, on tv. Wish me luck

Sheeran' s track race is set to air on Sunday on BBC Two at 20:00 GMT.
Meanwhile, Kiefer Sutherland and Will Smith have been confirmed as guest for the new series.
