- Quarter-final draw: Liverpool vs Leeds United, Manchester United vs West Ham United, Hull City vs Newcastle United, Arsenal vs Southampton.
- Fixtures to be played in the week commencing on the 28 November.
So Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all get ties at home. Favourable ties, too, you have to admit, given they could have easily drawn each other tonight. Newcastle United's hopes of ending their wait for silverware are still alive too having been drawn with Premier League strugglers Hull City.
Southampton and West Ham United will take numbers seven and eight respectively. The Saints have consigned Sunderland to yet another defeat thanks to a fine winner from Sofiane Boufal while Slaven Bilic's side have seen off London rivals Chelsea by two goals to one.
Manchester United meanwhile lead Manchester City with just four minutes of that match remaining. The draw will follow shortly after the final whistle there.
Five teams sealed their places in the draw for the quarter-final last night with Arsenal, Leeds United, Liverpool, Hull City and Newcastle United all ensuring their names are in the hat. Three more will join them shortly.
The draw itself is scheduled to follow immediately after the fourth round tie between Manchester United and Manchester City. Should the game finish after 90 minutes, we can expect the draw to take place just before 10pm (BST). Should the match go to extra-time or even penalties, the draw will follow afterwards.
You can watch the draw live on Sky Sports 1, whose broadcast of the second Manchester derby of the season begins at 7pm (BST).
