In this episode, Fully Charged's Robert Llewellyn braves the elements to join school children from across the UK for an electric vehicle race at the legendary Silverstone race circuit.

Llewellyn was invited to take part in the race by Little Ilford School, who was participating in an electric vehicle built by their students.

The race was organised by Greenpower, an education trust that has been set up to inspire more young people to become engineers. It currently works with more than 500 schools across the UK.

Llewellyn finds out why schemes like this are so important, especially when it comes to educating children about the importance of electric vehicles.
