Ellie Goulding is an ethereal bride in bespoke Chole gown

Ellie Goulding was one beautiful bride on her wedding at York Minster, on Saturday. She tied the knot with her art dealer beau, Caspar Jopling, and walked up to the altar in a bespoke Chloe wedding gown. The 32-year-old singer's gown was designed by Natacha Ramsay-Levi from the French luxury fashion house.

Ellie Goulding's floor-length gown featured long sleeves, an interesting Peter Pan neckline and star print crochet detail all over. Her gown was made from silk crêpe, embellished with white glass beads and hand-embroidered with White Roses of York, a symbol of Yorkshire, which was a nod to the city. It took more the Chloe ateliers more than 640 hours to make.

The "Love Me Like You Do" singer opted for a sheer veil as she battled the breeze with her bridesmaids. The veil was made of delicate silk tulle and organza, then embroidered with her and Jopling's initials – E and C, which took more than 591 hours to make.

The singer accessorised with silver chunky rings and three earrings in one ear - one pair were pearl-drop earrings, and the other two were diamonds. Goulding's makeup look was fresh with a flawless complexion, a sweep of blush and sultry brown eyes. Her long, blonde locks were styled into an updo.

Goulding's bridesmaids also wore bespoke creations by Chloé. They wore matching pale blue silk cadi dresses, embroidered with an organza braid.

"Ellie was very involved in the design of her wedding dress. Together we worked on a collage of references from the Victorian era that she wanted to weave into the design, in dialogue with the historical York cathedral where the ceremony was to take place," said Ramsay-Levi speaking to British Vogue. She added that the gown was inspired by Princess Anne and Princess Grace of Monaco's wedding gowns.

In addition to her wedding gown, Goulding changed into several ensembles created by luxury fashion designers throughout her wedding celebrations. These include Ralph & Russo, Stella McCartney, and Balmain.

The bride arrived 25 minutes late to her wedding in a blue Camper Van.

The high-profile wedding had a star-studded guestlist. Katy Perry attended with her fiancé Orlando Bloom. Actress Sienna Miller, singer James Blunt and his wife Sofia Wellesley, comedian Jimmy Carr and model/actress Cressida Bonas were also in attendance.

The wedding was also attended by Goulding's royal friends namely, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and their mom Sarah Ferguson. Beatrice opted for a green metallic dress by The Vampire's Wife, while Eugenie wore a floral dress by Peter Pilotto. Their mum, Sarah, was chic in a navy dress topped with a lace trim black dress coat.

The couple organised their wedding reception at North Yorkshire's lavish stately home, Castle Howard.
