After releasing numerous hits about love, it looks like Ellie Goulding may have found her very own Prince Charming.

The singer has confirmed that she is dating McFly star Dougie Poynter, revealing that he is a "lovely human being."

Goulding came clean about her romance during a recnt appearance on the Alan Carr: Chatty Man show.

When the comedian quizzed her over the rumours about her private life, she said: "Err, he's my man friend. Boyfriend traditionally" before adding "he's a very lovely human being."

Although she was willing to admit that she was in happy place, the Burn songstress kept tight-lipped about how long she had been off the market.

"Well I don't know. We were sort of friends for quite a long time," she said.

Goulding's confirmation comes days after the I'm a Celebrity winner let the cat out of the bag in the first part of ITV2's Fearne and... McBusted documentary.

"Yeah. All is good in that area," Poynter told Cotton.

Goulding has previously dated Skrillex, Jeremy Irvine and Greg James while Poynter entered rehab in 2011 after his messy breakup with Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford left him depressed.
