Emmy 2019 Awards winner list: 'Game of Thrones' wins outstanding drama series
Neck-to-neck competition is on between Netflix and HBO for the most nominations in the Emmy Awards.
The 71st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, TV's highest honours, are being presented on Sunday.
The prestigious award show kicked off live at 8 pm at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The 8th and final season of "Game Of Thrones" is leading with nominations in 32 categories and is followed by "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" with 20 nominations. "Fleabag" and "Veep" are those among the other competitors.
Meanwhile, neck-to-neck competition is on between Netflix and HBO for the most nominations in the Emmy Awards. As per the latest update, HBO is leading with 137 nominations while Netflix is not far behind with 117 nominations, reports CNN.
Following the precedent set by the Academy Awards, Emmy Awards decided to do away with the host, for the first time since 2003.
Following is the list of nominations and winners announced till now. While Jodie Comer has been named the "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series" for her role in "Killing Eve", Billy Porter has won "Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for "Pose". "Game Of Thrones" has been named as the "Outstanding Drama Series".
