Emporio Armani Unveils Rihanna's Second Capsule Collection [PHOTOS]
Following the success of the first Emporio Armani capsule collection, RnB princess Rihanna has announced her second collaboration with the luxury brand.
Set for launch worldwide in mid-April, the new collection includes a denim range.
The Daily Mail reported that the 24-year-old pop star has designed a new collection of slouchy shirts and shorts, shoes and accessories as well as a distressed denim boiler suit and biker jacket as part of her second foray into the fashion world.
The high-end fashion label has already released three sketches from the collection. One of the sketches features a loose-fitting t-shirt that bares a colourful print across the chest. Another sketch reportedly shows a shirt emblazoned with a delicate bird print which has been paired with jean shorts lined with a tartan print.
According to the Fashionista, the denim range will include a pair of jean shorts lined with a tartan print (to show off when you roll them up super short), a romper in distressed denim that looks pretty cute judging by the sketch alone, and some easy tanks and tees. The underwear is comfy and made of stretch cotton and includes a tanks and shorts set and some push-up bras with glitter.
Similar to the first collection, the second version will feature the brand's iconic Emporio Armani eagle and the mega star's initial featured on creations.
The debut collection included a select line of classic biker jackets, a canvas rucksack, and T-shirts adorned with Rihanna's signature R logo and Armani's iconic eagle.
Just the earlier collection, the new collaboration will also feature lace-up-boots and biker jackets for a more edgy look.
Earlier, the singer had followed in the footsteps of actress Megan Fox and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham when she became the face of the luxury fashion brand earlier this year. Rihanna was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, who produced a series of black and white shots for the sultry campaign.
