EU Referendum: David Cameron and Nigel Farage go head-to-head in live ITV Brexit debate
Potentially the most important programme the British public tune into this year, Cameron and Farage Live: The EU Referendum will address the biggest political predicament the UK has encountered in recent years. It could finally help the nation decide whether to Leave or Remain in the EU.
The debate will be broadcast on ITV at 9pm tonight (7 June).
Prepare to be enlightened – or entertained – as Cameron and Farage face a set of public questions from a studio audience of up to 200 people in a carefully orchestrated live TV event. Lasting approximately an hour, it will be moderated by ITV News presenter Julie Etchingham.
Interestingly, Farage, who aims to convince the nation to pull out of the EU, has stated that he hasn't had an alcoholic drink all this week in preparation to take on Cameron in the live spat. Farage will take questions first, followed by Cameron.
A second live ITV televised event will air on Thursday 9 June, featuring Boris Johnson and Nicola Sturgeon among leading politicians to debate the referendum.
