The 15<sup>th edition of the European championship will kick-start on 10 June when host nation France take on Romania. Before the start of the first match, there will be an opening ceremony of Euro 2016 at Stade de France, Paris on 10 June.
Where to watch live
The Euro 2016 opening ceremony will start at 7pm BST/11:30pm IST. ITV and ITV HD will provide live coverage in the UK. Click here to follow the opening ceremony live on UEFA's official YouTube channel.
Overview
The event will see both French and global artistes perform in front of a live audience, a day before the first match. Supertsar DJ David Guetta will be the star attraction of the evening in Paris.
He will perform the tournament's official anthem – This One's for You — approximately between 10:50pm-12:00am BST in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. Guetta will be joined by a host of other superstars and the list includes the likes of Will I Am, Enrique Iglesias, Ariana Grande, Christophe Mae, Louane, Florent Pagn, Kendji Girac and Soprano.
