Evelin was found at 11am this morning by police in Newham Met Police
A 12-year-old girl who went missing in east London has been found following an appeal.
Evelin Mezei, a Hungarian who has only been in the UK for six months, was reported missing after last being seen by her mother around 10.30pm on 13 April near the Stratford shopping centre.
Metropolitan Police have now said Evelin was found at 11am by police in Newham and is safe and well.
"We thank the media for their assistance," a spokesperson added.
Police added a man who appeared in a CCTV still with Evelin as part of the appeal was a "concerned member of the public" and has been eliminated from enquiries.
